Ashley Tsosie-Mahieu, Ed.M.,

Ashley Tsosie-Mahieu is a citizen of the Navajo Nation. She is Honágháahnii (One Who Walks Around Clan) born for biligáana (White Man). Her maternal grandfather is Ashiihi (Salt Clan) and her paternal grandfather is biligáana (White Man). Ashley is a Ph.D. Student in the American Indian Studies Department concentrating in the area of American Indian Education while simultaneously working toward a Certification in Higher Education at the University of Arizona. She holds a Master’s of Education degree in Educational Policy Studies with a minor in American Indian Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative and World Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ashley is actively involved in several writing communities. She is currently a fiction reader for the Chicago-based literary journal Literary Orphans. Her short works of fiction have appeared in As/Us: A Space for Women of the World, Literary Orphans, and RED INK. Ashley was the guest editor of the eighth issue of Literary Orphans titled “Maria Tallchief,” which highlighted Native American fiction writers, photographers, and poets.

Ashley (aka ATM) is our Founder/CEO and #TeamSchmooze Director. ATM oversees the business aspects of The iiSH while also lending assistance to #FUNiiSH and #REALiiSH.

Bobby Wilson,
Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota

Bobby Wilson has painted dozens of murals, performed spoken word poetry at events across the country, and appeared on television and radio commercials. In addition to numerous artistic accomplishments, Bobby has garnered attention in Indian Country as a member of the comedy group “The 1491s,” appearing in comedic videos and live performances. Bobby’s work is heavily influenced by his Dakota heritage combined with a lifelong city upbringing. Much of his visual work strives to convey a social and political message, tackling issues of racism, homelessness, and imperialism while maintaining a sense of humor and hope. He was born Minneapolis, Minnesota and is currently based in Tucson, Arizona.

Bobby (aka JustBobby) is our Creative Director slash resident Guy Who Knows a Guy. JustBobby oversees #FUNiiSH, the comedic portion of the website, and lends a creative eye to #TeamNews.
